Weird Vista-related (I think) WiFi problem!

Hi,

I have a network at my house with -

• One PC wired into a Netgear DG834GT Router
• Another PC connected wirelessly via a WG111T Netgear adapter
• And another PC connected with an ASUS/Realtek WiFi Solo card/aerial thing on the P5W DH Deluxe board
• Several laptops that while being used dont cause this problem to happen like the WG111T does.

Now, my computer (the P5W DH Board one) has worked fine with no issues at all until now, when I setup a spare computer using the WG111T Netgear adapter for the WiFi on that. (Vista x64 Ultimate is my OS)

It causes my computer to randomly disconnect every 10-20 minutes for seemingly no reason.
It appears to happen more often when the WG111T computer does something like access a website, login to an online game, although it could be a couple of one-offs, so im not 100% there.

Edit: While writing this when the WG111T computer has opened a new web page it has caused my internet to DC again.

I should note that to restore the connection I have to disable and enable the device in the device manager to get it to work for another 10 minutes or so.

I've had a search around and there is all manner of problems with these kind of things but it just seems very strange how it is happening, the drivers etc have all worked fine until now so I doubt its that, could it be a setting on the wireless router, anything prone to cause this commonly that I may be overlooking?

Two things spring to mind. First one is look for the Power management settings in the card for the driver and untick where it says 'allow pc to turn off to save power' or words to thet effect.

Another thing that can cause random disconnects is zonealarm. I had a problem caused by this. Uninstalled ZA and it has worked flawlessly since
