Well 1 year after quitting WoW...

been playing a bit of war casually, aint really been on it at all in the last week though, been busy decorating my room.

quitting drugs would be more impressive but i think ill stick them for now

Is this a complaint? I dont really understand it, but i think it's a complaint. If this is the case, what are you complaining about? You're upset he quit WoW and started doing other stuff? Guy was just telling us that he sold his account. People might be interested in that. (read: me)
 
not complaining but threads topic feels like the guy came of the drugs or something i guess he is really proud that he quit lol

You pop up in every WoW thread using your spectacularly broken English to troll at any available opportunity. Not quite sure why you hate so much, nor do I really care. Maybe you're drunk again :p
 
i just dont see the point of making a thread that says i quit playing the game. there is people who finish and quit games every day. whats the big deal about it ? unless he was addicted to that game and felt better to tell everyone he has stoped playing it.

You aren't obliged to post in it. I got something useful from this thread - it prompted me to check out some sites and see what the value of my account was. His real point was that he'd got some cash out of it, rather than that he'd quit.
 
I got £600 for mine a year or so ago on ebay, though listing on ebay and not getting deleted is hard work. He was really well geared though and i gave up and sold the same day so i had no easy way of getting back into it.

Well I played the game for 2.5years.. Left it last november... never played since then...

So i sold the account, might aswell get a bit in my pocket for it after all. I guess I just wanted to mention what i did. Some people delete accounts, maybe someone has an old account they want rid of.

People mention quitting MMOs because they consume a lot of time if you play them to their full extent. Its not possible to get the best out of an mmo with only a couple of hours a week.

The real money was made before eBay banned the selling of WoW accounts, I played from beta up until about 2 years ago over 2 accounts with 5 half decent geared level 60's and ended up making £630. :D
 
I really cant understand the attraction to these games. What attracts you? What do you do in these games?

I just cant play erm especially after watching that South Park episode, made me cringe.

What is PVP?

I can't play any rpg's really, I get bored within an hour or 2, mmo or no mmo, what's so interesting about these types of games...

Player vs player

Don't mean anything with it, but the last time I liked an RPG I was 14 or 15 or something like that, played the beta of ROSE online, quit after they made it paid for, I refuse to pay monthly for games... Since then, I tried WoW: Got bored, tried maple story and ragnorok: Got bored, etcetc. SP rpg's not much better, got bored of both oblivion, Mass Effect and NWN2 within very little time.

It's just odd but it's the only genre I just can't get into on the pc platform. I even like puzzle games or other mini games. But RPG's just do it for me for a few years now.

South Park was way over the top and everybody should know it's for comedy.

I find World of Warcraft fun, plus killing people on that really winds people up. The game also has a good sense of achievement and PvE especially has encounters that are great getting past.

The new PvP in Wrath of the Lich King looks awesome as well, also the game isn't very n00b friendly (well, it is, but it isn't - if you get me) so having a laugh at the random stuff n00bs ask in general chat and stuff is humorous at times, had lots of funny moments on WoW and sit on Vent when playing with some friends, it's just fun and cheap to play.
 
can these characters die then? Can someone come along and slash u up when ** at work or summit.

I assume the universe continues when ** not on the game? I mean where does ** character go?
