I must be one of the lucky ones on this forum, built it up plugged it in, posted first time no problem, loaded XP pro. and away you go.
Only two minor problem I can see the floppy light stays on any ideas as to the cause guys? and I get a fan error because as per the manual I have the cpu fan plugged into chassis fan one as it says to use this for dual core or is this wrong? any help you can give will be well appreciated. Z

Floppy cable is the wrong way round somewhere.

In the BIOS you can disable the warning if you want. I would put it into the CPU fan header personally.

For the floppy make sure the side with the twist in the cable in the middle part is the one closest to the floppy where its plugged in. The other one should be in the IDE port of the mobo, make sure you have that the right way round as well, should have a notch on one side.

Hi Macabre and all helpers, got it sorted now thanks to your help, no twisted cables using round ones. Z
