Well this is new.

Actually this is quite a good product.

I am in the market for a graphics card and the 8800GT is just a touch too expensive.

I was looking at the 3850 512MB, but this 9600GT is poised exactly between a 3850 and 3870 and is better value for money than both (if you run the numbers).

EDIT - With the new ATI price drops, this is no longer the case.

Im getting one of these, Im just not sure which one as there are so many overclocked and not overclocked. Im mainly after the ECS branded one but I cant find it anywhere :(

with the ati price drops i'd probs lean towards the 3870 in this price range. On most of the reviews ive seen it performs better without AA etc and for 130quid...

8800 is faster at around £20 more.....hmmmmm no brainer :p well done nvidia, just as expected

But why not get an 8800GTS 512 for only £20 more again...

But wait, you can get an 8800GTX for only £20 more....?

oh no, wait, and 8800Ultra is only £20 more again!

(dont shout at me about the exact prices, this is done to highlight the stupid ammount of nVidia cards out atm)

You used to have to pick the card you wanted, and then save the money. Now you just walk in with any ammount of money you have on you, and there will be a card available for that price.
