Seriously. It's most fun i've ever had with my pants on. :D

If anyone hasn't been, or is thinking of going, DO IT!

It was much much more fun than a track day I did last year and it costs a quarter of a price. I'm definatley going again soon.

What made this one special was because I didn't pay for it.

My girlfriends brother bought 10 easter eggs for a pound after Easter and in each one contained half an hour at one of three events. Don't know what the other ones were but i'm so glad he chose go-karting! :D

Went to the one in Leeds. PPIK or something. If anyone is familiar with it.

karting is indeed fun, took the mrs when we were on holiday in France, although we were the only people on the track it was awesome...

proper karting track as well, used by the french race drivers of tomorrow or something :D

taught her what happens if you boot it will full lock on anyway :p

Yeah loved booting it round the corners having the back end come out.

Shame it slowed you down :(

Only at the end did I realise that your final position depended on your fastest lap.

I would have tried to do a full lap without having the tail come out :p

I went karting for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. I only averaged a top speed of 27 mph but it felt like twice that! Spun a couple of times and managed to get twalloped by a few idiots who thought we were on the dodgems. Result = massive brusing to my lower spine, hip and rib cage!

That was at an indoor circuit in Aylesbury, will be heading for the outdoor track at Milton Keynes soon!

Yeah it was quality when someone span out just infront of you and you slam on the brakes only to slide into them :p All you can think of is "SHHHHHHHHH....." etc :p

I went karting back in may, it was awesome...great outdoor racetrack and 50mph karts with laptimes and allsorts. Lakeside Karts in Essex:

Club100s are great fun. Bit of a pain if you spin off though due to them being 2 stroke with no clutch :)

I absolutely love getting the back out but as you say, it does your times no favours ;)

Karting is great fun, it's something everyone should have a go at doing. I often refer to the Roadster as a go kart as they share the same trait of the back end stepping out and quick cornering if you knock the ESP off :)

Whenever i go to visit my parents in Portugal i go to the go karting track there.

Twin 400cc engined ones, pretty rapid! :p

We went recently at Teesside Autodrome. Was an ace circuit and great fun. We did the Iron Man thing. I came a poor 5th after starting 3rd but I got caught up with a few ppl spinning in front of me. :(

If you ever have any spare time or money peterattheboro I suggest you give it a look going by your location :)

Ohh i'm going.

Gonna organise a session with work shortly and i'm gonna go for my birthday in November :)

I've not been go-karting since I was.....erm, about 21 - real shame, it was good fun, but I'm a heavy lad, so I have to really fight to get decent times! :D
