So after NZ we went to Indonesia, then Malaysia, back to Portugal for 3 weeks, then Singapore and now the Philippines.

When in Indonesia we didn't have reliable steady internet at all, sometimes electronically marooned for days at a time! Hence little update from moi.

However, I did blog a bit and we're getting back into it, see the links for the stuff that hasn't been posted here, I'll be doing a Malaysia post as well very soon.

Just read up on your north island trip and you did pretty much the same as us but the opposite way round, we also went to New Plymouth and Raglan, we also went right up north to cape Reinga and 90 mile beach, never noticed whether you did?

We didn't go to New Plymouth and Raglan no, nor cape Reinga, but we did pop to 90 mile beach. Didn't have long there though.

Did you go to Cathedral cove and hot water beach whilst you were on the coromandel peninsula? We also went to Tauranga, but stayed at Papamoa beach resort, we saw a shark in the sea there too, apparently, it's there every year!

We loved it in North island, so much so that we've already booked to go again in January, can't wait!

Yes and yes! We wanted to go in and try hot water beach but it was massively crowded so watched from afar, didn't dare go in the water either due to the drowning warnings.

Thanks dude! It's been a real blast When diving the other day I had a particularly close encounter with a green turtle which was pretty special!

Where about a are you going in the Philippines?

Hi mate, we're in Cebu MoalBoal at the moment and will be heading to Cebu city at the end of the week, then onto Manila to visit Subic Bay and surrounding areas.

Interesting choice with Subic Bay. Any particular reason to go there? AFAIK it's on the map because its a big tax free shopping place.

Scuba Diving is the reason. I had heard rumours about the shopping place, thank you for confirming - I'm after a new pair of Ray Bans!

In other news, Tokyo was incredible, truly amazing city! and now we're at one of the 5 lakes for a chill out day and got to see Mt Fuji

Hi all!

Long time no speak! We have been busy in all manners of things, but we have plenty of blog material to share and an update on us. First up, the blog.

- Philippines

The final blog post on Japan is due very shortly - for Kyoto and Osaka.

Then us, since Japan we have been to...Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam & Cambodia. Next is Thighland then it's back to the reality of working for a bit
