Hi All,
Whats the dif between the SE16 250 GB 2500KS and the RE 250GB 2500YS, the SE16 is just over £3 dearer.
I see one has 3 years warr.... and othe 5 years warr..... but is there any real dif between them.

Cache size?..... 16mb vs 8mb?....... most likely answer.

16mb will be newer model, newer tech..... i have 2 16mb cache WD sata drives, love em!,,,

RE is the better drive. its the Raid Edition drive, supposed to be more reliable.

well i just checked and they are both 16 mb cache.

correct, re has 5 year warranty and se has 3 year warranty. that reason alone and the very very small price difference is reaosn enough to go for the re drive.
