Hey hey. Looking to organise a meet for a few members.

Looking at 4th June, from 5pm to 9pmish. Meeting up around the M5, one of the early junctions (will be confirmed at a later date). Merlin has promised some nice roads in Worcestershire , stop for a bite to eat, then the scenic route to Stratford On Avon. Only stipulation is that you need a quickish car to keep up really. As we don't want to leave people behind !

Me and Merlin so far are confirmed, looking towards Eidolon and his new Elise, Drexel and his Track Scarred RX7, Nozzer and his Elise and Simon and his Rover !

Lmited to say the people mentioned above, and a couple more spaces, as don't really want 20 of us turning up on the same roads.

Post on here, or email me (email in trust).

Thanks

Just to emphaise, quick car is needed, and very limited spots. Ideally looking for Merlin, My self, Simon, Nozz and Drex, with possbility of one or two more.

And I'll have driven back from the highlands, in the Audi, the day before, so I won't have the Elise in the midlands anyway :p

Because we all drive our, already quite quick, cars with the talent of a Schumacher/Solberg cross-breed and you mere mortals won't be able to keep up. Big hoons attract negative attention from the law too, I imagine.

I like your style ;)

I can't see any reason why not :)

You're coming to Stratford eh? Hmmm... You think my L reg 1.3 65bhp red/pink Escort would fit in/keep up? It's got a spoiler you know...

I'd be 100% up for this, but the whole "quick car" thing seems a little narrow minded?

Is it a meet-up to have some fun, food and then a frolic in the cars, or is it for mindless speeding and silly driving?

If it's the first, count me in in the Golf.

No narrow mindness about it at all mate. The people who I mentioned all drive quick cars, there will be a lot of B roads going available and we'd rather have people who can keep pace on them roads in quickish cars, than those who will struggle.

There is another meet not far from West Midlands (RR Day) start of July for your more, get together, have a drink and talk about cars. This one is for people who have the cars and who like to drive them.

Sorry to rule you out mate, but it's just preference for the type of meet i'd like this to be.

Well provided you're gonna be sticking to the speed limits, i'm with you all the way up to 70, so I wouldn't call that being ruled out. I too like to 'drive my car' as you put it.

And i'm already going to the RR meet.
