This was announced back in Q4 2023 but guess its finally happening.

Direct sales split quite a few months ago with the Sandisk web site selling both brands of SSD so we'll see if/when the WD ranges get rebranded to Sandisk.

On balance, a good thing just for simplicity of consumer choice (and not having to remember all the different offerings by different brands)
