Can someone explain to me the difference between

AAJS
AAKS
KS
YS

disk drives

Is the difference between the AAKS and the AAJS just the 8Mb Cache difference or am I missing something on the website

Also if on a RAID5 Media Storage am I really going to notice the difference.

AAJS - 2nd Gen 8MB Cache
AAKS - 2nd Gen 16MB Cache
KS - 1st Gen 16MB Cache
YS - RAID Edition

You are correct in the difference between the JS and KS. The JS are a fraction cheaper but I'd just go for the KS. If you're running 24/7 in RAID the YS is the better drive but the KS is best for performance unless you go for the new AYYS 750GB RAID Edition.
