Western Digital Raptor ATA problem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I built system with abit AN8 board and 1 36mb raptor and 1 150mb raptor.
The system recognises the first 36mb as the master but fails to recognise the second drive.
i have connected to serial ATA *** 1&2.
Is this normal or is there a problem?

Where is it not recognised? My Computer?

Have you been into the Disk Management part of Computer Management (right click on My Computer and click Manage). If it's shown in there you'll need to create a partition on the 150Gb disk and format it.

If it's not showing in Disk Management you'll need to check that the BIOS is recognising it.
