WD provides fix for "an issue where a WD1600YS, WD2500YS, WD4000YS, or WD5000YS hard drive is dropped from a RAID set without reporting errors after a period of normal usage"
I have two WD5000YS's and theres about 20 WD2500YS's at work and I've never experienced this, but if it happens now - I know what to do
