This 2.55 test shows the minimum write speed , seek time & burst rate as a bit faster

hmm I wonder if it's due to NOD32 scanning in the background... i've disbled indexing barring the Start Menu so that can't be the issue. Let me try again without NOD32 enabled...
 
Ok when I disabled NOD32 the scores leapt up to where the minimum was the same as yours''' then halfway through I got a severe spike dropping to 30MB/s, which I think was due to some background process running, and also the fact I have firefox set to auto-refresh every 5 minutes. To do a fair test i'd have to disaable pretty much everything... so i'm satisfied my Raptop is working as it should be. :)
