Western Digital WD800 question

does this look ok? i think it should be a lot higher! any ways that i can inprove this? settings in BIOS/windows etc?

the HDD is a western digital sata drive - WD800JD

how do i make it SATA 2?

i wasnt aware that the drive was SATA2.

the drive was made in 2005, model number is WD800JD

It's worth checking through device manager to see if the SATA controller is a) capable of SATA2 and b) set to run at SATA2.

how do i go about doing that?

i thought all the ports on the Asus P5B are sata 2
