Stupid BST starts this weekend on the 28th March.

We'll say goodbye to GMT for the summer, we'll be back to idiots quoting GMT when they don't understand the difference, we'll be back to confusion and madness.

We invented time, we invented Greenwich, we invented longitude and we invented clocks*. It's only right that we should be on proper GMT all year round.

BST, you can do one. You're not wanted here.

VideoPlus was great, all you had to do was tap in the numbers.

Of course, it didn't help if the VCR clock was wrong by an hour and all you got was the Open University.
 
It seemed like black magic at the time. I guess the code wasn't actually all that sophisticated after all.
 
I love it that the US change at a different time, which makes meeting scheduling a complete pain in the arse for 2 weeks while it's all thrown out of sync annnnnd then back again
 
We didn't invent time but the concept of measuring it, in the way we do currently. Entropy has been around since the big bang but time itself is an illusion because there is only now.
