Fantastic, longer, lighter evenings!
BST is BeST.
I'm with you here, I much prefer longer, sunnier evenings

We should permanently be on BST anyway. Hour of light in the evening is way more useful than in the morning.

Yea, I like the smaller gap between us at the moment tbh. I get more meeting time and it's easier. It's just the recurring meetings that get thrown out for 2 weeks.I much prefer the US stock market being open earlier and finishing earlier tho![]()
Without a doubt.Lunchtime doubly so.
We didn't invent time but the concept of measuring it, in the way we do currently. Entropy has been around since the big bang but time itself is an illusion because there is only now.

If you like indoor stuff. It doesn't matter!
It does, people make too much noise outside when it gets light. As well as that, peoples' infectiously polluting cheery attitudes drive me mad:"it's light in the evenings, isn't wonderful!" while I have to grimace and say "yes" reluctantly.
And people think I'm weird for it. I don't know why. I want to live in a crypt.
No. I just prefer mornings to evenings. It's when I go out for walks, for photography, mountain biking. Is this for commuting or something?

That's fair. It's people who seem to be indoorsy that seem to love GMT I don't get!![]()
People who would rather the evenings be dark are absolutely psychos and we should lock them in the dark anyway.
Yeah the big giveaway was when I said "I" just prefer it not everyone does.More useful to you, not the majority of the population who are still in bed?
According to google, Sunrise after BST starts on April 1st is still 6:33 a.m.
For me it's about light and noise. Even if you draw the blinds in my flat you still get light through the window and no, I'm not going to be able to get blackout blinds in a rented property.
Too much light really stresses me out, I have long suspected I have SSAD. I don't mind it during the day, obviously, but when it's still light beyond, say, 9pm, I feel exposed and trapped. There's nowhere to escape to and you just have to wait it out. I'm on the road to getting therapy for it, or a diagnosis, because I don't want to live the rest of my life like this or making excuses and lying to people about how much I love light evenings when I don't. What makes it harder is that people just don't get it - you explain it to them and they laugh or think it's weird - so you just have to say nothing and smile and nod.
