Honestly, i've not noticed that; saying that though, i've not been especially looking for it though. I'll check tonight.

ViewSonic VP2770-LED gets my vote. Great image quality. Don't think ocuk stock it though. Shame.

Yep, the viewsonic is a much better monitor than the Dell.

That deal on the Sammy recently was pretty awesome though

Sad times.

Whilst checking for backlight bleed, I also spotted a dead blue pixel (as well as bad backlight bleed!).

Bought from OcUK and just 4 days into 7 day DSR period. What is best bet for replacement with minimal downtime?

Very happy with my ASUS one. I don't notice any lag or PWM issues (I tend to play RTS games or games like ArmA, eve, etc) so perhaps I wouldnt notice it as much as others. But the screen is ace, no backlight bleed, no dead pixels, great package comes with all the different connectors. Only thing it lacked was a DP->miniDP converter which luckily my GPU came with.

Looks a lot nicer in the flesh than on the website to, i've no idea why such crappy images get put up as advertisement.

I have Asus pb278q & can honestly say its a fantastic monitor . Playing BF3 on it now and its amazing , Very fast speeds and the color is brilliant , A lot of people go with these 120 hz but you lose quality in the color department I believe if you pick this route , I was in the same boat as you 3 weeks ago , I wanted a monitor that was great for Fps gaming and Photoshop - I can hold my hands up and say this monitor is perfect for that. Buy it and see for yourself.
