If not you paid far to much IMO. Id have paid no more than £500 - £550

Um... what are you on about? 2x7800GTX costs £600, even if it was only 1 it would still be a good deal...

I was talking about current 2nd hand prices. He didnt say if they were new, or if it was 3 months ago in the original post.

2 used 7800GTXs would probably be about £250 the pair at the most today.

£125 per 7800GTX? Thats not right... unless you mean £250 for one?

I got one for £100 on clearance months ago. :p Two 7800gtxs dont cost £600 though 2x7900gtx only costs £610.

They had a very high failure rate with lots of RMAs, thats why they aren't stocked.
 
soorry i can not spell or punurate but you get the jist of it anyway all the bit were new i have merley owned it for 3 months i watched my friend build it in front of me BRAND new bit they were not 2 hand !!

Good thing too then. I take it the ddr2 ones have been fine in that respect?
Shame really, coz they were fine when they worked.
