So where do I get these quaranic ayats from? Can I print one off for free and make a video of it being flushed down the bog?

Let's take a look at some of the games that I've played over the last 10 years:

- The Sims 1/2/3, allowing gay relationships.
- Age of Empires II, where monks can convert enemy units to your own religion.
- Final Fantasy VII, where Cloud gets the chance to date Barrett.
- Harry Potter, which is about witchcraft.
- World of Warcraft, also about witchcraft.
- Mario Bros games, where Princess Peach reveals a bit of her ankle.
- Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, where burger stands aren't Halal.

All the above are considered 'Haram' to Muslims, even the princess Peach merely showing her ankle. So why are Muslims attacking Modern Warfare and not doing anything about the above games? Talk about inconsistent. I guess the game makers could make a politically correct version of such-and-such computer game to cater for certain countries but it would have to be on a country-by-country basis. But apart from that, if you don't like what you see in the game and you've read the warnings and age rating on the back of the packaging, then tough luck. Don't play the goddamn thing!

Do what is required to satisfy your needs. There is obviously a void and agenda that you need to fulfill.

Wah Wah Wah, someone call the Wahmbulance. Not this I know someone who is Muslim, but (probably) sells alcohol in his corner shop and top shelf magazines.

Like in every religion you get people who are well versed with it's laws and practises. I tell you what get your Muslim friend to join this forum. :D

Is placing Quranic Ayats in a bathroom forbidden for Muslims? YES!
Should it be in a Video game? THAT'S UP TO THE DEVELOPERS TO DECIDE!
Would I boycott COD because of it? COD IS **** I STOPPED PLAYING IT YEARS AGO!
Is Battlefield Superior to COD? YES IN EVERY SINGLE WAY!!

Take the time to read over your comments in this thread because you literally don't sound like the sharpest tool in the box.

So you wouldn't boycott CoD/Activision because of the whole toilet fiasco yet your in this thread boycotting members of the forum for having an opinion on the toilet fiasco because you find them insensitive?

This thread is about a minority of Muslims who happen to find something offensive which is pedantic, pointless and petty and it strikes me as they're arguing for the sake of arguing and Activision willingly bent over backwards for them.

And lets be honest, they're using there Islamic/Muslim status as a method of fear and control when the majority of Muslims are peaceful and forbid the actions of extremists.

"But were you to fear, that by leaving the Qur’an outside of the washroom someone may steal it (as sometimes is the case in public places), you may take it with you, because in that case doing so is a necessity."

The guy in the game left it there for safe keeping ;)

A typical Muslim wouldn't be bothered about it.
Just saying.

Actually a typical Muslim would be bothered about anything their brothers and sisters whine about and choose to blacklist, they follow whatever other muslims are doing. One only needs to look at the youtube comments and mass online attacks on one of the videos posted in this thread, the general public responses from muslims towards anything just slightly blasphemous, and also Majnu's behaviour in this thread and on the forum in general for an insight into the average Muslim.

tbh sounds like sour grapes from you guys because the muslims got your map removed for the time being. It should be removed until its fixed because your not allowed ayats and surah's or any quran text in a bathroom.

Any game which involves killing humans should be removed from sale because it is contrary to one of the Ten Commandments and therefore offensive to Christians.

What a load of rubbish. Muslims are not allowed ayats in a bathroom, but I certainly am!

Didn't mw2 shock the world when it came out with the airport scene?I'm sure there were lots of people complaining (a lot of them prob not even gamers) however activation stood their ground.I know you could have skipped the level however it was still there.

Now a handful of Muslims complain because they can see the words Muhammad/Allah and the map gets taken off?

This is exactly the case here. Yes, lots of people (including religious groups) have complained about different elements in different games over the years but NONE were removed yet when a certain religious group complain about a little graphic in a game (that took them 3 years to find), the image is pulled immediately.

So a certain religion trumps everything? Is that not religious prejudice in itself... The same thing that some Muslims complain about daily?

Although this may sound daft at first, perhaps this is an idea:

Additionally to stating the parental guidance age on a game, perhaps it should also contain a listing of religions that might offended by the game in question. Well, to put it bluntly: tell the Muslims that this is a jihad in a box.

Nice way to avoid question 3.... "I don't play CoD so I can't boycott it". It doesn't really answer the question if you WOULD boycott it though... Try this:

If Battlefield had this image, would you boycott it?

In addition to the video that has been linked a couple of times..

Why is ot when muslims complain about a game. And a map gets removed from a "3 year old game" a big discusion pops up. Yet when a catholic priest molests a little kid nothing gets posted or said?

Maybe because Christians dont seem to blow things up as much.
