Hi.
I dont usually post about this sort of stuff on here, but im a bit annoyed, and at this time of the morning, this is the only place i can get it off my chest. lol. :p
Its probably gonna be a bit fragmented/hard to read unfortunatelly:

Let me set the scene:
Me and 6 of my mates went into Hanley tonight for a birthday bash for one of the lads and a leaving bash for another. Anyway, cut to the end of the night, where we're walking back to where the taxi is picking us up at...

One of my mates (Mate1) sees a lad he knows and says 'hello', in a joking sort of way, this other lad, who'll be refered to as prattA from now on, he jokingly says 'are you starting'. My mate, Mate2, stands in front of Mate1, pushes Pratt1 over, thinking that he was starting on Mate1.
Pratt1 got up, and started having a go saying, 'just you wait, im gonna twist you up proper', so Mate2s brother (Mate3) steps in, and trys calming it down, as does Mate1. So prattA goes to make a run at Mate2, so Mate 4,5 & me step in his way to prevent him. After another attempt to calm him down, i take Mate2 down the road, 50m or so out of the way, and after loads of arguing, it leads PrattA to start following Mate2 wherever he goes trying to have a go, whilst at the same time, me and the rest of the lads trying to calm him down and keep him away from Mate2.
Mate2 apologised multiple times, none of us were in anyway threatening or challeging to PrattA, but he still insisted on carrying on.

He threatened my mate, and threatened all of us, because he knows where myself and two of us work, and where MateA lives.
After a while, a group of girls got involved and tryed calming it all down, which didnt work, and then 20mins later, everyone went their seperate ways.

Sounds fine?
Nope. PrattA happens to be a 'big' member of a local gang who have a large record of violence at a pub round the corner from where we all live.
In all fairness, he'll probably have forgot all of us apart from my mate who pushed hiim over.

But, he sorta has reasons to start on anyone of us (reasons according to him).
Mate 1 he wont start with as he knows him.
Mate 2, the one who pushed him, will be 'remembered'. Knows where he lives.
Mate 3, mate2s brother was the one doing most of the talking to calm them both down, although he did seem to respect Mate3 as he did ask him to the side to talk to him. And as above, knows where he lives.
Mate 4, who stood in the way shouldnt have too much trouble, apart from a 'what are you looking at' not a lot happened. Doesnt know where he lives/works.
Mate 5, same as above, but he wont be bothered, as he's moving to Manchester.
Mate 6, knows where he works, but Mate6 didnt do anything at all, just stood there out of the way.
& Me, who PrattA tryed pushing when i stepped in his way (i didnt react though).

So, as i see it. For mate 2, he's possibly got some trouble ahead. Moreso because he has to walk past PrattA's house most days.
Mate 3 'should' be ok.
Myself, i should be ok, i have to walk past prattAs house twice a day on the way to work, but when he was going round and pointing fingers saying 'are you starting' at everyone, he didnt bother with me. BUT, he did push me. So the question there is will he remember that, leading to trouble for me?

Tbh, i think everyone, me included, apart from Mate2, should be ok.

Thanks for reading this very fragmented and probably hard to read/understand post, but i just had to get this off my chest because it was annoying me.

Any opinions welcome. :)

Joy, I read it and share your pain! - He may have been drunk, that or he has so many enemies he doesnt remember half of em.

Hopefully.
He was drunk, as was my mate (mate2).
There was only me & mate3 who were completely sober.

Should have got a camel spider to punch him in the ovaries. (Sorry, its been a while :P)

IMO mate2 deserves what he gets to be honest. If someone says something like that to you in the street, thats really not the way to respond whether they mean it or not. The other guy probably wont remember him anyway though.

Mate 2 overreacted a bit dont you think? :P
Yes he did over-react, and he did read the situation wrong.
But what was shocking was that mate2 isnt a lad you'd expect to do that sort of thing at all. Even when drunk.
But thats not my point, my point was that prattA was carrying on even after mate2 apologised.

Sounds like a typical night out in Hanley to me lol

Shouldn't of bothered trying to calm him down, just tag-teamed with your five mates and battered him. One less, in my opinion.
