What additional features would you like on your car?

Absolutely serious question - why is so much stuff in BMW spec sheet marked as "professional

Because when you drive a BMW, you are Professional. You mean business. You are, of course, the main. This is why the BMW comms/radio equipment is called either BMW Business or BMW Professional.

In other words, for no real reason at all :D

I always thought that cruise control gave you worse fuel economy than if you just drove manually.

Tbh, so did I - I was doubtful when this was introduced that we would see any savings, in fact, they are considerable.

In theory cruise control DOES give you worse fuel economy than driving without it - but only if you drive PERFECTLY without it with exactly the right throttle input at all times which in practice hardly anyone does, therefore cruise is more consistent and thus more economical in the real world.

I find with CC i can happily sit at 70mph all the way, without it i'm usually cruising at ~80mph. CC takes this notion of wanting to keep up with everyone else away.
The difference in my prelude was an extra day between fillups. (~20miles)

Suspension that doesn't necessitate 2-300 quid spending every 2-3 months on it. Oh and aircon that is above the asthmatic level at least.

Spot on. Cruise has to react to the speed dropping fractionally as you start going up a hill and vice versa when going down. In theory the driver could adjust the throttle prior to any change happening, in reality people aren't capable of doing this therefore the yo yo-ing of cruise between 69.8 and 70.2mph* ends up better than the average drivers 68 to 72*

*Figures just picked to illustrate the point :o

Having driven 500 miles today, 90% using cruise control - I was yearning for radar guided cruise control at points.

I wouldn't mind a better stereo and bluetooth instead of a pointless built-in phone. Heated rear seats are a luxury I lost when I switched car and although rarely used, seems a shame to no longer have gadgets I used to!

I would happily sacrifice other extras (electric rear blind or teletext anyone?) for these.

Maybe fit some decent suspension then No?

Indeed is an option fitting kw's iirc are highly rated on gta's. Just feels like the beginning of the end. Looking at other options in 3-4 months methinks instead of making it the car it should be by spending another £1200 or so after fitting. Hmm.

I'd be happy with a trip computer and a bit more power :)

One thing I would not want to lose that I haven't seen anyone mention here is the heated front screen. In the winter it really is pretty damn awesome.
