What am i doing wrong here? *grumbles*

Ok, well 2.6 is unstable, i went to run 3Dmark06 and i got error that i have never seen before, and it shut itself off before i got a chance to read it. As soon as it got into Windows again it BSOD'd and restarted. So i've dropped it back down to 2.5 and that's where it's gonna stay for a while.

Im not really comfortable with pumping more volts thru it yet.

If im correct, geil warranty still stays after 2.95 volts, its still within its tested voltage range...
Acoording some review (3d velocity) , it should do 260 mhz...

Unfortunately i can't get mine to run @ 1T, There is a stick of ram in each yellow slot,

Looking promising mate,

Give it some more volts ( The CPU )

and then watch it grow ;)

You are using aftermarket cooling i take it ?

Yeah, its coming up ok so far, i'll get it to 2.6 one way or another.

And yeah, im using a Zalman 7000B-Cu fan, it's happily running at 30c right now.

Which reminds me, is there anyway to force speedfan to set the fan speeds to 100% on boot? Everytime i reboot it resets them to 50%, which in actuallity is 40% because the fan is set to 80% in the bios. =/

try using a lower divider in the meantime - 133/ddr266 and try for 2.6 again. It'll eliminate the possibility that your ram is throwing out errors and not the cpu. test for stability again - If it's still unstable then the cpu will need more volts.

I seem to remember my ram crapping out on me a few times, lower it once more and see what happens :)
