What Anti Virus Software?

Sorry to hi-jack your thread Jimlad, but I'm looking for some AV software for a Windows 2003 Server machine.

I've only got one machine yet you can't buy a single user license for any of the available Win2k3 AV products I've looked at :(

Any ideas?

I use http://www.avg.co.uk/doc/buy/uk/crp/2 It's licensed for up to 5 connections and not to expensive. Select File Server Edition - £48

Just put the full Kaspersky security suite on two vista pc's and its working really well, taking care of AV as well as firewall and parental control. Before using that i was on the AOL version of Kaspersky and have to say it beat AVG hands down.

I used to be an AVG fanboy till my machine got hideously infected (AV was up to date etc..) installed Avast on recomendation and it cleaned it nicely and I've not had a problem since... well untill the wife installed a Downloaded program and 'Ignored' the warnings recently

I've got Avast Pro (Paid for) on my Main machine and Avast Home (free) on my Laptop!...

Very happy (after nearly killing the wife!!)

Yup, Avast is what my girlfriend used to use until she got a Mac, I find it less resource hungry than AVG and just better overall. I don't use AV personally but I would pick Avast if i was building a PC for someone. Norton is worse than a lot of viruses on old Pc's, it does more harm than good.
