As title, just wondering what the coverage is like on these networks these days.
I know a few years back a friend had a 3 contract and said it was a waste and would never use them after the contract.
My main area of use is rushden & wellingborough in northants.

Get a free sim and try it out? It's virtually impossible to tell what coverage will be like for you from another persons POV unless they follow you for a week. All networks have >96% population coverage and tbh it's a much of muchness currently.

Tesco uses the 02 network, so any idea how your area is with them?

Also, if you aren't going contract, GiffGaff are probably better than Tesco.

I've had two contracts with three which are just about to be renewed, the only issues we've had have been recent where texts we're delayed once or twice in the past two weeks, however they have been sending us messages saying that they're doing network upgrades so service could be disrupted.

I've been looking at Tesco myself and they seem to have some real good pricing, but want to see what 3 can offer me before moving.

I've been with voda for AGES, going to ring and see what deal they'll do me on a GS2 knowing that 3 & tesco are from £20 p/m, and if they won't get close or match I'll leave.

I find Tesco mobile to be great and best of all you top up £10 you get double so I ended up with £30 :O has to be used in a month but meh.

have been using tesco sim in my phones the last 4 years without any problems
as said tesco is on the o2 network

only the free £20 has to be used in within 30 days if you dont use it all you lose it but you dont lose the £10 you started with that rolls over

I moved from O2 to 3 last year to get an iPhone 4 as it was much cheaper. Network is not too bad but no where near as good as when I was on O2.
