As title, what are they like for getting pre orders delivered on time?

I'm contemplating ordering BF3 Physical warfare pack off there, but it says release date Oct 28th. Will i get the game on the 28th or earlier?

I can get a cd key of the limited edition for £27 which promises to be playable on the 25th, but i don't mind waiting an extra 3 days for a hard copy as long as game actually deliver for the release date of the 28th.

Normaly I get things on the day it's out or a day before.

Also I see u said playable on the 25th I'st it an origin game which means it won't be playable till the 28th unless I missed something with pre-orders

In my experience ordering from game they are very good, never got the game later than release day but around 50-75% of the time it comes a day earlier than release day. Unfortunately all of these games were on xbox so im not sure if it is different for pc games of not.

yeah it's generally good, pretty much everything I bought through them arrived prior to release day. though if the game is on steam it don't matter what time it arrives as you ain't playing until it's unlocked online. civ 5 was my example of that.

Hmm I am in the same boat as you regarding the pre order so would also be interested in the replies of anyone that's had experience with this sort of thing.

I got my GTA IV 360 + AVP PC on the morning of release, Royal Mail 1st class.

So 100% customer satisfaction so far. I am planning on ordering BF3 from Game.

Edit:

It is worth noting that even though I lived (at the time) in a fairly rural, remote area, the delivery was prompt.

Thanks for that boys. I think i'll buy from game then. I can actually get the game key for £20 online for the standard edition and £27 for the LE , but my mates are getting the limited edition and i'll be left out of the extra maps for a month if i cheap out and get the standard one.

The game key i can get for £27 can be preloaded on the 21st and playable on the 25th in america. Now i've asked EA live chat about this telling them i'm in the uk, can i still pre load on the 21st and play on the 25th???? They didn't know the answer.

My mate uses game all the time and swears by them. I ordered Arma 2 from them pre-launch and a full week after release date my order hadn't been despatched and had no contact from them , tried to sort it out and eventually cancelled the order and bought it from amazon instead.
I would honestly say though it must be a one off as i say my mate uses them all the time and has always had great service, i swear i must have just been very unlucky , ive never used them since as im a bitter brute like that , so i never got the chance to ensure it was a one off :)

Just letting you know the flipside of the coin , but obviously that could happen with any company and i seem to be the only person its happened too so you should be fine with them !

I've never had anything come late with GAME. Always on time or a day early.

I remember having GTA: Vice City two days early, and the toff in school going ballistic :D

I've always found the well known online games store in Leeds to be the best for pre-orders, always seem to receive the game on release day at the latest.

Last time I used the for any type of important preorder was Aion, over 30 copies.
Not one arrived before or even on release date :(

Ordered one copy of GoW3 from them and that arrived on time, I've always found them to be a little slower than other companies, their CS however seems a bit sparse and the new site is shocking :p

I generally don't like GAME, but with pre-orders I can't really fault them on it. Every order I made with them in the past has either arrived on or before release day.
