What are my options?

Hi guys, it's ask the experts time again.

I have an i5 2500k and a dying gigabyte p67 UD4. I'm not sure I'm ready to upgrade yet but would like a replacement board that will give decent crossfire support and take 16gb (4x4). Ideally as cheap as possible.

Could you please give me some pointers?

Your best bet is to look for a second hand Z77 board but even on the bay they are going for silly prices. If you want to stick with P67 there's a ASUS P8P67 Pro Rev 3.0 on the bay at £36 with 4 hours to go and no bids. If that's no good then it may be best to sell the 2500k and switch to a 4690k and Z97 board.

I've got a few hours to think about the replacement P67 vs cpu upgrade. Thanks for your input.
