What are Sub £100 tablets like?

snip...

If you have any questions or apps you want me to try and video for you on a Teclast or Elf let me know and I hope this advice is more useful than "they're crap, but I can't explain why in any detail". ;)

All rubbish screens.

This one looks interesting. What do you think?

800*480 screen?

Like all of these sub £100 tablets they have rubbish viewing angles as well.

I have a Telecast, and well a Playbook, and have had a Samsung 10.1 tablet..and had an iPad, apart from the Telecast be a touch slower, a few missing options the Telecast is fine for day to day stuff, most the apps I use run fine on it, but yes the screen res is the most noticable thing.

Never used on have you, their not rubbish, their pretty damn good for the price. You can Mail, web browse, and use apps just fine. Just because they have lower res screens does not make them rubbish, if they where priced at 400 pounds that would make them rubbish.

Not when £150 tablets are available which are much much better.

Like I said before, Kindle Fire and Playbook are the minimum you should aim for.

Ohh please, the PB is about £170, so that £70 over he wants to pay, so its not the same, then you start saying...."well if your willing to pay that you might as well buy x at 250". If the budget is 100 then dont go saying that kinda stuff, its utterly pointless.
Its about what's the best at 100 pounds..not a "spend more money get better tablet screen shock announcement".

Well new kindle fires go for less than £150 on ebay.

Since other people are willing to go to obscure sources to buy their £100 tablets, I don't see why powersellers on ebay should be ignored.

For £150 you get a OMAP 4630 and high quality screen, all made to a high standard.

edit:

Actually how much is the Allwinner A10?

please stay well clear of www.ebellking.com, ive been looking at getting a tablet for around £200 and that website came up but after reading around about that seller on androidtablets.net theres quite a few rather poor reveiws about it.
