What are the 50 year old plus gamers playing?

59 pushing on 60 and witcher 3, Deus X mankind waiting a while for bugs to settle before dipping into it.
Fallout 4, ROTR and Elite dangerous.
Used to be big on multiplayer games but dickheads and blatant cheating have drastically dulled the appetite for those.
I just don't have the patience to put up with it anymore.

For instance the last MP i played was BF3 and when someone comes on the server and says I am God and everyone died at the same time i asked myself why O why do I bother.

I'm 36 but my body feels like it's 62 today. So I'm posting!

Currently playing through Civ 5 with Fallout 4 next up

Last one I played online was BF1942, that's how long ago, which I absolutely loved because it was simple and I'm an idiot who likes simple things.

But when it became apparent that people were using aimbots I just gave up. Tried BF2 online for a bit but didn't like the extra complexity and resorted to simply driving vehicles into camps to try run people over.

Hitman from Game and Halo 2 from CEX, I just keep going in and having a look you can sometimes fall on something a lot less than its value. Eg a while ago I got LA Noire for a fiver when everywhere else it was at least £15, a week later it was back up again. Pricing mistake but I pounced on it.

I have lists in my phone of the 'top 100' for each platform and a rough price, so I keep an eye out for those.
 
about to play the 3 month start in path of exile essence league in a few hours.
BF 1 beta for a day but game to crappy gameplay as usual.
Later in oct it be some civ 6.
 
45 IIRC, so closer than some who are posting, so here goes:
Xcom 2
Doom (completed but replaying for 100% collectables and secrets)
Ashes of the Singularity
Subnautica (early access still but exceptional game)
 
ha ha loving the nearly 50's gate crashes ! including myself, 50 in 16months!
just signed up for Battlefield 1 beta
and starting to play assetto corsa and project cars,
always catching up with COD, not even started that latest black ops!
looking forward to 2nd generation VR headsets!
 
70+ and just finished Tomb Raider 2013.

PC games never really appealed to me before but for some reason I gave Call of Duty 1 a try earlier this year and now I am hooked.

you sir are in for a treat,

I think you will find all the Call of duty's up until modern warfare 2 really good, its like starting at WWI and working your way thru history to Iraq

would love it if they remastered them all, like they just have done to call of duty 4
 
just working my way through MOHAA before i go back online and get hammered.

need for speed, plants vs zombies garden warfare, and just ready to pop back into COD2

looking at battlefield 1 and hoping the game is not overrun with snipers.

new vietnam game looks good, i hope they do the music in the choppers like battlefield vietnam.

i am a lot slower but also with age i dont care, i am a lot cooler and just keep coming
back for more.
 
62, just starting the grandsons Doom, on steam family. Played cs back in the day, but id get owed now. :eek:
