What are the best SSD's currently on the market?

I posted a note in the order queries forum last night asking if they'd upgrade me to saturday delivery and that I would pay the difference, still no reply :(

Phone them? If you don't mind paying, think it was £13 approx

Will give them til midday then will. And I probably won't be in monday so kinda need to do something!!!!

I've been waiting 2 days for a response from the order queries forum despite messages, gave up and phoned OCUK n the last few minutes - spoke to a very nice person on the end of the line and have arranged for my order to be delivered tomorrow (minus the out of stock item) :)

Well theorectically speaking the only item I have ordered (the m225 64gb) is still not in stock, so dunno if its worth calling them yet :-S

M255's are due in this afternoon, just rang them to change my order from a 64Gb to the 128Gb. I was thinking of raiding, but its just not worth the effort.

Hope they do arrive today :D

Going from a 5400rpm laptop drive to one of these is going to feel like night and day I think... Of course i know after a while I'll get used to the speed it's nice to have anyway :)

Does anyone have a comparison/benchmark between the X25M-G2 and the Crucial M225s yet? As they're the first two of the "second generation" it would be good to know how they stack up with one another.

I think i read somewhere that winds see no performance gain with an SSD?

The crucial M225s uses the same controller (Indilinx Barefoot) as the super talent, the ocz vertex etc.

I have been using a supertalent me 64gb for a while now in my desktop running Windows 7 and its blows my raptor 150gb away.
