What are the go to JRPG games on PC?

With the arrival of final fantasy 15 on consoles tomorrownt had me thinking i have never played a jrpg on pc that isnt just a port of old final fantasys!

Have i missed any big games?
 
Tales of Symphonia you should have got in the sales, you should still get it. I love JRPGs, this is the only one I've completed and I've played all the stunners.

Ys really aren't classic JRPG games, they are a genre onto themselves, I like them but have never got too deep into them. Battle system/voice/art much better in Tales of Symphonia. Playing the latest Tales game on the ps4, and honestly, Tales of Symphonia looks as good, and has a better start so far too. It's the best Tales game, so best JRPG imo. **** contest over /
 
A innovative twist on the JRPG I quite liked was Recettear.

It's a shop management game but you get goods to sell by plundering the dungeons.

This and the likes of Bastion are just cheap indie classics, what this kid wants is the best JRPG I think.

EDIT: FFXV will have a very hard job of toppling Tales of Symphonia. Mo out.

Something tells me you quite like tales of symphonia :D

Do i need to have played the other tales games or does it stand alone? The legends of heroes: Trails in the sky had really high praise and some sites dubbed it the nest jrpg in the last decade

*according to steam, tales just got an update including resolution up to 4k msaa etc

Them updates basically mean the best JRPG ever is not on consoles but on the PC. PS3 had a remake, but not 4K obviously.
 
Thanks for the suggestion will try the demo at look at it when its complete^^

Purchased tales of symphonia and trails in the sky! Also a little game called to the moon, not an rpg i dont think but looks to have a nice story
