What are the go to open back headphones for gaming atm?

Modmic is attached and is frankly, an excellent mic.
They sent me the USB version that I originally wanted as well as I don’t use the onboard sound, USB was preferable.

No, don't do it! Get your soldering iron out and add a 3.5mm socket instead of the fixed cable, and use the beyerdynamic custom headset gear mic, it's miles better than a mod mic and doesn't have a second cable. That's what I use with my DT770s:

That's exactly what I plan to do with some DT990s - have that mic ready to go in a saved order!! Just don't have any soldering experience so might need to train myself up first lol.
