A mate of mine has an XFX 8800gts up for grabs which hes only had for few weeks. Works fine but I'm wondering how good XFX's warranty service is and how generally reliable their products are?
Anyone got any info?

Well that sounds promising. Whats the warranty like on these cards and any idea what XFX like to deal with if summat goes wrong?
 
what was the problem with the xfx 7900gt cards, what was the outcome, and I assume this doesn't effect the 8800gts/gtx range?

Why not? (overclock it that is)
 
Well I'm getting the XFX8800gts off me mate tomoz, it works fine in his pc (not overclocked) so I'll see how it goes, at least if it doesn't work for any reason in my pc, I can give it back. :)
