What are you listening to, GD?

New Cure album released on Friday. They played an epic 3 hour live show that was livestreamed to celebrate its release.


Standout song for me is Endsong. A horrifying, beautiful reflection on mortality.

Found a couple of new bands over the last week:

Violet Cold - very interesting fusion of black metal/ambient/electro/post-rock/synthpop with some Middle Eastern folky harmonies and motifs thrown in



Sleep Token - Also kind of metal, but with a lot of melodic stuff, along with some hip hop type vocals in a few of the tracks, the singer has an absolutely fantastic voice:



Also been listening to my brother's band; Din of Celestial Birds - instrumental post-rock, seen them live several times and they're awesome (even if I might be a bit biased :D):
