Never once seen him live (Murray) , seen him on tv a few times of course but not a particular fan of his comedic work tbh.

Listening to this podcast has certainly opened my eyes to the other side(s) of him, a very good historian as I say, author and indeed an exceptionally good narrator - which is the last impression you’d get from seeing him as “The Pub Landlord”!

Found this via Shazam playing in a bar in Corfu recently, the whole playlist seemed to be of a similar theme, classic tracks redone in a kind of chilled way, fantastic - especially for where we were at the time - annoyingly the best such track I heard was a rework of Duran Duran’s “Planet Earth” which completely turned the song and indeed style of the original track on its head, I didn’t Shazam it nor have I been able to find it since…
