6 is perfectly quick tbh. I havn't used Opera, but I have used the definition of slow- firefox, quich would make anything look quick I guess.

Sorry mate but overall everything is faster than IE, there's a review here.

Personally I use Firefox on my desktop, which isn't as fast as Opera but I'm just used to it.

Same! Whenever i use Firefox or IE on someone elses computer, i always find myself pressing Ctrl+Enter to log in, or randomly right clicking the page expecting it to navigate back or forward

IE6 causes problems for every web developer in the history of the world. The sooner it's dumped, the better.

Saying IE is fast without ever having tried FF or Opera is like maintaining that your Corsa is fast whilst declining a free ride in a Ferrari. I get really baffled by people who can't notice the speed difference, because it's so obvious

IE6 is the most pathetic excuse for a browser in the history of humanity. It has the poorest standards compliance of all modern browsers, has no features, is insecure and poorly designed, and makes life living hell for web developers like me. Please stop using it

Comparing IE6 to IE7/FF/Opera is like comparing Notepad to SciTE or Notepad++.

I generally don't care what browser people use, as long as it isn't IE6 or older.
