What are your GPU temps?

Really? Wow. At what clocks? I've never really tested beyond three continuous runs of Heaven but i think my 290's stay under 60C at 100% fan.

Still testing at them moment, so temps may change a little, but those were from a 1 hour render test on GPU-Z last night.

Got some home made heatsinks on them, then a 92mm fan blowing over VRM1 & VRM2 is just the heatsink hence the higher temp.
Still work in progress, but it's looking better then the first two attemps I had !:D

Yea I think you really could do with improving the airflow of the case.

My Gelid Icy Vision Rev2 can keep my 290x overclocked to 1080/1375MHz on stock voltage (but +50% power limit) around 64-70C under load. I think you are not feeding your Gelid enough cool air, and the heat get dumped from it is not being shift away efficiently.

Don't need to. It's just the room I'm in has the sun on it in the late afternoon / early evening so it starts cooking in there.

I'm not really bothered enough to take the cooler off. Will just bump the fan up and then back down again when summer is over. I do have it overclocked and over-volted too so that doesn't help :D.

Glad to hear it. Hope you come back to red side eventually. :)

With a bit of luck, i will be looking to add a third card eventually. I will keep yours in mind, cheers. :)
