Hey guys.

Can you post your IDLE temps and your Full LOAD temps and the cooling systems you have and weather they are overclocked etc.

Will be interesting to see all the comparisons, im a stat whore :)

Just running Prime atm, getting

IDLE - 28-32c
LOAD - 49-53c

One question, I am getting mirrored temps on core #0 #1 #3 but on core #2 it is around 3-4c lower than the rest. Is this problem at all?

How about you list the specs of your setup, otherwise making comparisons is pointless..

In response to your question, a minor difference between temps is perfectly normal.

Also if you want a good comparison you should make a chart covering the different CPUs, type of cooling, clock speed, voltage etc.

Currently running a core i5 750 at 4GHz cooled by a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro

Idle: 1.264V
32C, 27C, 31C, 27C

Load: 1.284V
Prime95 61C, 57C, 59C, 57C
Linx 64C, 61C, 62C, 61C

CPU: AMD 1090T 3.2ghz overclocked to 3.8Ghz.
Cooling: EK HF Supreme on custom watercooling loop
Temp ranges: Idle:27C Load:40C.

Idle temps could be lower if I turned on cool and quiet but OC is more stable with it off.

Other thing, im gonna over clock to about 4.0-4.2.

What should I change, just the multiplyer or the V too?

The current VID under 100% prime load is 1.2610v?

Hey again. I have updated the BIOS to 4.2MHz...

Its all I touched left Voltage etc...

The Core Speed (in CPU-Z) is saying 1605MHz but when I load Prime it jumps to around 4.2GHz? Is that normal?

Also what heat should I take as a limit through prime (about to run it just now).

One more thing, my Core Voltage in CPU-Z is reading at max, 1.280v is that ok? As Core Temp is saying VID: 1.3461v

Yes, that's completely normal.

Say 73 degrees when left at a 100% load over a period of time but ideally it should be less.

Core voltage is fine, max recommended is 1.3v I believe. Make sure that voltage is when the CPU is at 100%, not idle.

Yeah, thats at full load. so far the highest has been 64c on core #1.

Also do you know about the DRAM at all?

Thanks for the reply also dude!

Hmm.... I have just been looking at people clocking 5GHz..

And I can see that there frequency is different from mine, something is wrong?

it states - 3.33MHz (0.01 x 641.0)

Can someone help?

It's probably better if you follow an overclocking guide like this as it will help you understand what you are doing, rather than just changing a bunch of settings.

Have a good read through, see how you get on, and if you're still stuck then post back in this thread :)

CPU: Athlon II 630 @ 2.8Ghz unlocked to Phenom II @ 3.4Ghz using 1.4v
Cooler: OCZ Gladiator 92mm with Gelid Silent 9 fan
Temps Idle: 32 Celcius
Max Load Everest (5 mins) - 41 Celcius
Max Load IBT (20 passes) - 48 Celcius

That's for the actual CPU temp, as the core temp isn't correct on AMD and it doesn't show when I unlock my CPU anyway. :)

Cpu: AMD Athlon II X4 635 @ 3.8Ghz, chip idles at 30 under titan fenrir with CnQ enabled, full load is roughly 60c under prime95 and IBT, 1.5275Vcore
Motherboard usually sits around 33 degrees C

Crossfired 5850's idle around 33c for the bottom card and 36 for the top, under gaming, top card hits 57 under metro 2033 with high settings at 1920x1080 and bottom card is around 53x

Had a good read and copied the system setup (as im on ASUS too), the only problem im having is through Core Temp...

It states the Frequency at now 333.01MHz (0.01 x 64043.0)

What the deuce?
