Same, windows manipulation in OSX is terrible.

Indeed, it's dire. How on earth anyone lives in a productive environment without bettersnaptool or equivalent I will never understand.

Even though Apple have pretty much cloned a good chunk of Alfred-like functionality into the OS now, it's still not Alfred, not by a long shot.
