What bike did you learn to ride on?

I've learned to ride on a Honda CBR450SR 1991, which was also my first bike:

I'm actually looking to buy one, if I can find one in good condition and import it here.

1968 suzuki T20 super six. Six speed 250cc two stroke twin quite rapid for its year.

Started riding in 1976 on my driving licence a Raleigh Wisp, then in 1980 a Vespa 50 Special. Stopped in '83, then started again in'89 on a CG125. Swapped it out for a Yamaha RX100, which got nicked. No bike so took 6 lessons on a Suzuki 125 at the local bike school, passed test and I week later was the owner of a Virago 535

Er6n was my training school bike. Had a lovely purple tank protector with butterflies on, felt proper manly.

Took my test on my Suzuki GP100 back in 1982. Before that I had an old moped at 16. You basically passed if you didn't run the examiner over when he stepped out into the road for the emergency stop.

CBR600RR it was a pretty terrible choice. First time i really opened it up it scared the crap out of me.

Learned on a mate's Suzuki TS50. Think I was about 13-14 at the time. Man he loved that thing.

First time I ever rode was when I started my DAS in 2007 - some random Chinese 125, then onto an ER-5 which I failed on. Second test was on a Suzuki GS500E - a miles better bike than the Kwacker

My DAS was on a triumph trident. Really pleasant to ride and easy clutch for a noob needing little/no throttle to get going which was usefully on the mod 1 I think.

Some Suzuki GS500. Revelatory after the first day on a (i've no idea what as I never wanted one) 125 thing and it went from "this is a bit poop" to "this is a bit fun".

My grandfather taught me to ride in a old car park when i was 14/15 on an old Honda Custom CM125 that we restored together. That was going to be my first bike when i was legally old enough to ride on the road...

Unfortunately a week before my 16th Birthday, someone cut the chain and put it on the back of a truck... never to be seen again. That put me off doing my licence for another 20+ years.

I've got some photos from then somewhere at home, I'll see if I can dig them out when i get home and load one up

I learned to ride on my Friend's Bajaj Pulsar 150 (15 bhp). Although it isn't the first one I ever rode.
