Hopefully people will respect the FAQ's and no post ludicrous links. I am just curious to what blog's the people of OcUK read. Also I am a little bored with my websites and need new blood.

Here are a list of the main blog sites that I frequent.

http://slashdot.org/
News for nerds

http://www.retrothing.com/
A look at all things retro

http://www.engadget.com/
All about gadgets

http://www.joystiq.com/
Gamer news blog

http://www.zdnet.com/
Technology blogs (including Mary Foley, previously from - Microsoft Watch)

http://www.microsoft-watch.com/
Joe Wilcox blog on MS. (Joe usually gets slated for not being as good as Mary Foley)

http://www.lifehacker.com/
Useful tips for increased productivity

http://www.babble.com/
Magazine for the urban parent.

I guess by looking at the list I am a real geek. Fingers crossed this thread doesn't get locked

None, I'd rather not replace reputable news sources with hearsay and rumour.

Whilst I appreciate your view, you have to appreciate that some blogs are information straight from the horse mouth rather than through the views of a journalist who are usually not as objective as you like them to be.

EDIT:

Just noticed your sig contains a link to the Cheezy Blog. Why couldn't you have provided that as a link instead of coming across all haughty and snobbish about blogs?

Might I ask what these reputable news sources are?

Nice choice (I am an active member there :p).

I read:

Engadget (http://www.engadget.com)
Techeblog (http://www.techeblog.com)
Hackaday (http://www.hackaday.com)
Hack247 (http://www.hack247.co.uk)
I-Hacked (http://www.i-hacked.com)
Life Hacker (http://www.lifehacker.com)
Life Hack (http://www.lifehack.org)
Mini ITX (http://www.mini-itx.com).

There are a few more, but they are more minor.

I don't read that, I write it! :p

I've never ever found a blog I'd subscribe to for regular reading. Sure I find useful tid-bits of information on them every now and then when searching for a solution to something, but that's not what the OP is asking. :)

All these popular blogs seem to be just rehashes of news from other sources, as you yourself said, I'd rather hear it from the horses mouth.

Anyway, I am often haughty and snobbish, so that's why I can come across that way. ;) :D

Just thought it made a bit of change from Muslims, Conspiracy Theories and Spec me threads... ;)
