What board to go with an E8400 chip

Hi guys what board should i get to go with my E8400 chip i want it for overclocking it dont have to be sli or crossfire just a good board that will make a very fast machine.

The P5Q deluxe is very popular on here. As to whether its 'better' than the cheaper P5Q-E, I wouldnt know. It is highly overclockable and the price is reasonable.

Google 'P5Q Deluxe review' and loads will come up

The P5Q-E is about £40 cheaper than the deluxe really not sure which one to go for really. Would an P5N-E SLI do just as good or is it too old now.

Don't go near the nFail P5N-E.

same chip combo here, E varaint of the mobo, 4ghz without really trying to push the chip yet. Deluxe will win if you want bleeding edge clock speeds, however I'm happy with the E, very happy!

I just sent my P5n-e sli back as memory slot stoped working also lan stopped working for months so i really dont wish to go thru this all over again. I looked at the deluxe it was just the price that was putting me off unless it comes down a bit but i dont think it will yet.

Pro or e version of the p5q would be equally good choices at a lesser price than the deluxe. A comparison of the features on the entire p5q range can be seen here.

Id recommend the P5Q-E going by reviews and guides if your into the overclocking end they both seem to marry well.

unless you are going for the ultimate OC then I would go for the E version..

Personally I'd get the Deluxe. It can be had for 120 if you look around. But out of the two you propose I'd get the E over the Pro.
