What cable do I need - m-audio 24/96 > reciever...

Hi,

Apologies for the stupid question!

I am wanting to connect this:

(SPDIF)

Into the coaxial input on this:

What sort of cable do I need to do this? I don't really understand the names of the jacks either... I just want to be able to connect the two as cheaply as possible. Will a normal interconnect work (i.e. CDP > amp)?

Either a Coaxial SPDIF from the orange 'break out' connections to the Dig 3/4 coaxial inputs.

Or

RCA Red + White from the back of the card to any of the 'in' Red + White on the back of the receiver.

RCA will be cheaper.
CDP -> Amp cables are fine.

I want to get AC3/DTS out, so I guess I need the coaxial cable from the SPDIF into the coax input on the reciever?

I have heard that composite video leads will do the job for this?

Im pretty sure you can just use an RCA cable from the optical out on the audio card to the dig 3 or dig 4 plug on the bk of the amp or what ever that is.
