What cable do I need?

Sorry, this might be the most stupid question ever, but I've never used a DVI cable before since my monitor has always been VGA cable.

I have a Asus 5970 and getting the Samsung P2270 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Can anyone tell me what cable I'm gunna need to get for it since it doesn't come with a cable according to OCUK.

it doesn't come with a cable according to OCUK.

I would double check that before ordering any more cables if I were you. This monitor has only one input - DVI and comes without the cable? Something is off here.

I emailed ocuk and they replied that there was no dvi cable included.

Ok, according to Samsung official the box includes 'DVI-A to D-Sub' Cable. DVI Cable is sold separately.

So, DVI end goes into monitor and VGA into graphics card. If you are ok with that you don't need any more cables. Otherwise see first post.

It's not particularly cheap for a monitor that has 1 x DVI only. The Benq G2222HDL LED monitor seems a better buy.
