The cable that’s go’s from my fiber box to my router the WAN cable is it just an ethernet cable? I need one that’s a little bit longer but don’t know what to buy

@ChrisD. is, of course, spot on. You want an Ethernet cable, Cat 5(e) or Cat 6.

Just to expand a little bit, as I'm assuming your ONT is in an awkward spot and you want to move the router to a different part of the house...

Flat cables generally aren't actually Cat 5 or Cat 6, but you can generally get away with them anyway.

Getting anything above Cat 5e won't make your broadband any faster, so don't pay too much.

Also if you know a geek or IT pro, they can probably make you an Ethernet cable to an exact length. They may even have a drum of cable and the kit to do it to hand.

Or potentially give you the cable without ends on to make it easier to run. And then they can just crimp ends on it or put a socket on it for you. (It's easy to do, especially if you use keystone jacks. You can do it yourself with one of these cheap lil fellas, or with a pen knife worst case.)

I'm mentioning it, in case it makes it a lot easier to run. Especially if you're going through a wall, so you only have to drill the diameter of the cable, not of the much larger plug!
