What Cable?

I'm looking for a cable to connect a Dell U2311H to my 6970. I plan on getting three for eyefinity (maybe, stuck on monitor choices).

If two will connect via DVI. Will it be a mini display port to display port cable on the third monitor? Do OcUK sell these cables?

P.S. If I connect three of the Dell models into my 6970. Would I also be able to keep my current monitor connected, not as part of the eyefinity setup, just as a fourth monitor? I'm aware the 6970 supports upto 5?

Yeah for eyefinity you need to use the displayport with an active adapter if there is no displayport on the monitor - don't think OcUK sell active ones.

No No.... the Dell already has a displayport connection. I just need the cable to connect it directly. Is it a display port to mini display port or mini to mini etc?

Ooooh serves me right for being lazy and not checking the monitor connections

Think you'll need a mini displayport to full size displayport, which aren't sold on OcUK

Not at all. I should have added it in. Wouldn't expect anyone to go and check something out for me. Thanks very much for your answer. I'm sure the place I'm ordering the monitors sell the cable.

P.S. What do you think of the monitors yourself? Any good for eyefinity? Or is there better?
