Leave him where he is and then come and post on t'internet asking what to do

was the a question, or a suggestion or what :S
im riding past the same spot again twice shortly, so al have a peak. just wanted to know if i shoukd have taken it out of harms way into my garden.

hes sitting down a 'cut' liek a tree lined footpath type thing, where people walk their dogs and cats run about n stuff.

according to some vet thing on a couple days ago, taking it home is the worst thing for it. but id leave it and keep an eye on it :)

How far away is your house from where he is - if it's within earshot, i.e he can chirp and his mum will hear him, wear some gloves and put him somewhere safe in your garden (gloves are so you don't put your scent on him with may cause his mother to reject him).

If she doesn't come then it looks like you've got yourself a new mate :)
Just feed him on worms and make sure he's got water and he'll be ready to fly in not too long.

To be honest, I'd let nature take it's course. If it gets eaten, it gets eaten. Law of the jungle and all that.

There's not a lot you can do for it by taking it home, and you can't watch it forever to guard it from marauding cats.
