What can I expect to get out of my E6600 overclocking?

Hopefully I'll soon be getting a E6600 system, P35-DS3R, 2x1GB Crucial 6400C4 DDR2 with a Scythe Ninja or Tuniq.

What can I expect to get easily out of the CPU (without messing around with voltages etc.)?

i can get 3.2ghz easy on stock volts. i just cant get 400fsb on my e6600 no matter what

originally i did overclock. but as my cpu is way ahead of my x1800xt i left it stock as i didnt notice anything different at all after the OC

3.2ghz no problem on stock volts here as well...

3.6ghz with voltage bumped up..

As has already been said,3.2 with ease.

Mine is running at at 3.4 (1.320v).

I just bumped mine right up to 3.0ghz outta the box and its running fine.

I could go higher. But i dont see the need to atm.

3.2 GHz for me on stock. Howevers seems to need a hell of a lot more voltage to go further. Im nearly trying upto 1.5v now and its still not stable at 3.3/3.4 still

3.2GHz @ 1.325v here. Just won't go any higher and be stable at any voltage.
Current ambient temp is around 25ºC and the cores are idling at 36ºC & 33ºC.

Im on 3.2GHz on stock volts - had 3.3 no probs, but does bork at 3.4

Temps (with PECI enabled) are idle low to mid 20s and under load no higher than 40

my e6600 is 3.6ghz at 1.34 (after volt drop) voltage set 1.38 in bios iv had this since october last year.

Mine did 3.2 @ 1.33 and would do 3.4 @ 1.4 but needed up to 1.5 for anything near 3.6.

Sold it on and never got to test it on another board so i suspect it was the motherboard!

Wonderful chips though. Decimate a clocked X2 even when they're run at stock!

my chip is like that needs a hefty 1.7v for 3.9 stable

Looks good and then doesn't quite get there unless you give it a decent kicking!
