What can Sony possibly do to top Microsoft now?

Cheaper and smaller PS3, thats what they need because the games MS has just announced nothing can come close to the PS3 announcement.

Just sat hear watching the MS conference with glee.

I thought E3 was about big announcements, not the re-hashing of years old technology.

This isn't a rant at Microsoft, just at the whole industry. I bet Sony will just talk about FFXIII and GT5, which people have known about for a while.

No its about games and gaming, MS announced a lot of new games, why would they go on about new tech for a 4 year old console.

All microsoft brought was what everyone knew was going to be announced, some sequels, and two arcade titles, hardly mind blowing. The eyetoy tech looks fun, but its not gonig to replace a controller so not of interest to me. The video streaming going worldwide is a good announcement, but its hardly massive!

Cant see sony annoucing much either tbh

If it was, get Jenna Jameson with a Wii remote or DualShock 3.

I Love the attitudes that come out at half time, No doubt they would be identical if Sony had gone first.

To be honest, MS did show a lot of awesome things, But a lot of it didnt interest me personally. The Natal did, Alan wake, Splinter cell, rising and ODST were interesting.

I hope they show more of Final Fantasy versus during the Sony presentation, as I only know a tiny bit about it. God of War 3, The new game from ICO could be there? Uncharted 2, heavy Rain, maybe some GT5 news?

A matter of opinion obviously, but I felt they were lacking games I personally want to play. 4 games for me out of an entire MS showcase

Well I didnt like Halo 2 and 3, I love halo 1 though, and to me ODST looks more like Halo 1. Which I'm a fan of

Agreed, looked so bland, dull, uninteresting - infact I actually strained watching it, so playing I would probably just get bored.

I think Sony's conference will either have some big announcements that will show why they are one of the best in the entertainment industry, or it will be embarrisingly bad and will result in a lot of backlash on internet forums with the essential youtube and gifs being produced...

The PS3 conference is apparently 2 hours long. They're gonna need a shed load of content to fill it without it getting dull. Here's hoping...

I think ODST suffered from having a useless person presenting it and a not very well thought out presentation. I still think that and Reach will be great though.

Aye, the bit where he asked who liked the Halo 1 pistol was painful, iirc he didn't even show off the pistol in the presentation!

He did, he shot a couple of enemies that didn't even seem to be moving.

I mean, how interesting is a pistol? :confused:

Worst thing i thought he did, When he was crossing the bridge, he kept the camera panned to the left, looking at the bridge wall, There were battles and ships flying over to the right, Why would you focus on a grey bridge wall rather than intersting looking background battles. Why would you do that in a presentation!?

That indicates to me that he was trying to hide something from view, no?
