What case

Hi,

I'm currently after a decent looking case (preferably with clear side window )for my new dual core gaming rig. Needs to have decent airflow, room for plenty of drives/8800GTS etc

Ive had a look on overclockers and like the Look of the Antec 900, although not sure how quiet it will be with the massive top fan and 2 front fans etc.


any ideas/advice, or others products you can recommend? Got about £90 max to spend on the case.

antec 900 = terrible imo, either get a nice, lian li and make a window, or a PC-7+windowed side panel, or a thermaltake, or an eclipse+windowed side panel

The Antec 900 is pretty good, sadly the front fans act like a hoover.

The top 200mm fan is almost silent, all the fans have a speed control switch, on the low setting its pretty much silent all round.

Lots of drive space too, room for 6 x 3.5" and 3 x 5.25".

yes that whats i was worried about, dont fancy a case full of dust!

do like the look of Lian li PC7

You'll have money left over for other things as well. Perhaps a windowed side panel or some swanky Yate Loon fans.

PC-7 is a nice case, not for those who have loud components as it isnt steel and lets the fan noises out, but it has good airflow, nice build quality and its easy to clean.
