What cases do you own? (pics)

gr1mey the case is a Akasa Zen, £30 from OcUK. :)

It is the best £30 RRP case I have ever used, its cheap, but of good build.

Would people please remember we already have a cases gallery, this is for case collections. :)

Bottom Row Left to Right:

201b-SX1 - Currently holding my Rig Champagne sides/top anodised silver front

201c-SX1 - Mint (Never used) Champagne sides/top anodised silver front

201b-SXK - Some people say this is a "silver widow" not sure if there is such a thing All Anodised silver

200c-CX1 - very rare first revision with champagne sides and anodised gold front panel, Top drive blank has been modded (not by me) for a pioneer slot drive.

200c-MX2 - the more popular ATC 200 case. Dark grey texture painted sides/top, anodised silver front with anosides black surround for the drive bays.

111b-SX2 - Lovingly restored by me see link in sig. All anodised silver.


Top Row left to right:

201c-SX1 - Spares parts case, Will maybe have a go at modding it one day. Champagne sides/top anodised silver front

Praetorian - All anodised silver, I only got this for the front firewire/USB/Audio ports which are now in my 201 rig

210c-DX1 - Mint (never used) All anodised silver with a smoked perspex door, pretty rare in this colour too.

111c-SX1 - Mint (never used) All anodised silver

Lastly my little Lian Li PC402a, All anodised silver, there would have originally been a perspex door on this case but it has been chopped off, mod not done by me but i definately think it looks better without a door. Cases houses my mini ITX epia system
 
Beats the biggest my ATCs collection ever got to! I got to 6, 8 owned in total so you certainly get that award.

In retail case prices there, oh my thats a LOT. :eek:

And yeh, thats a Blue Orb II

Did not want to ruin the cooler, so the Sugo got the chop, making a little bulge to add onto it so its not just a hole, its one of many mid mod cases I have. :p
 
At stock it has a glass door at the front, looks much better in the modded one that Harib0 has going just by pictures.

Its a very nice collection, but not enough Lian Li cases. :p

and the ATCs 210s are actually the ATCs 201s (ATC 201b-BTX, ATC 201c/b-SXK)

Please do not get them confused as the models you have are much better than the models you have listed them as!

I'll get my collection to gether and post a couple of pictures, as there have been a few more added since the last time i posted them.

Also really looking forward to seeing goreblasts collection of ATCs cases

lol I know they are 201s, God knows why I put 210 tbh, it was late when I posted and I had just stripped down my TJ-03 and moved it to the 110..I did think it was a 110c, but I wasnt totally sure on the difference between that and the 111 tbh, so you cleared that up for me :)
 
The main difference between the 111 and the 110 is the front grill area, on the 110 the grill is not set central in the panel, larger gap at the top than at the bottom. where as the 111 the grill is central in the panel equal distance from top and bottom.

The 110 as such is also a slighly larger case and deeper as well.

OT; Anyone got a black silenmaxx that they want to swap for a blue one? I specifically asked if they only stocked black ones, to which tey said yes. I then receive a blue one.. grr :mad:

BTW that one with the gold anodised front looks great, never ever seen one of those before - must have been be a very short run of those coming from ATCS.

you have a wicked collection btw, it goes without saying, but I have to anyway. I love the ATCS cases, but Im also fond of many others from different manufacturers.

Do you not think any of the Silverstone cases will become collectors items as the ATCS ones have, or are they just too bigger company to bought out do you think?

Also, am I right in believing that the core of the Silverstone developers actually came from ATCS on their demise? because from having dismantled cases from both manufacturers, many of the construction/design methods are very simillar.

The 200c-CX1 is the first one i have ever seen - so i snapped it up quick smart lol

Any case can be come collectable, there just needs to be a want for people to have them. Once you get a couple of people who like the cases then thats where it goes from, The market for ATCS cases had declined quite a bit recently as such prices are not reaching what they would have done say before christmas - take for example the 110 you got (you nipped in while i was on holiday and just beat my highest bid!) that case in it's condition would have been nearer £100+ before christmas.

I'm not 100% sure on the history of ATCS-Tek but rumour has it that when cooler master took over some of the designers left and created silverstone - which has only recently (I think) taken on the Tek name to become silverstone-tek.

Hence the fact that there are quite a few resemblances to the old ATCS cases.
 
Well so far there have been some wonderful collections of cases on show...now for some true 'Cases From Hell!' :D Btw I'm in the middle of motherboard upgrade / gutting my Xaser at the moment...which isn't going well :rolleyes:

Left to right: Overclockers Tornado (Globalwin 802 - just can't seem to let it go), Thermaltake Xaser III V2000 (door still attached quite happily), Antec SLK-3700BQE (good quiet cooling), IT Works Generic Beige (old Athlon XP second hand rig I'm reconditioning / upgrading and selling for £200). Also have an Antec Aria at work.

Sorry if you feel sick.... :D I think the Akasa Eclipse will be my next case...unless persuaded otherwise

I know what you mean mate, i ordered one thinking it was black due to the site having a black one in the picture, and it arrives blue :( . It looks OK but i would have much rather had a black one to match my case.
